The PSOE de Mazarrón, wants to reach all the public his great concern at the serious economic situation that is going through the city and the steady loss of jobs in all sectors but has a greater impact on the agricultural sector, historical source of progress and employment in Mazarrón.

Productive sectors so far as services, tourism, construction and especially agriculture are coming down as a result of widespread economic crisis that is affecting more severely Mazarrón than other areas and that is assuming a true sangria for many families and workers to have to go to stop because there are no alternatives other than traditional employment.

Only in agriculture, manufacturing and handling of tomatoes, in recent years have lost more than 3,000 jobs.

The closures of many local businesses, and numerous other ERES and layoffs are causing personal and family situations of genuine drama without excuses and with the cooperation and responsibility from all, especially in government, business organizations and trade unions have of setting a target face in finding new employment as an alternative to the productive sectors that are no longer profitable for everyone.
