The general director of Agrarian Funds and Rural Development, Carmen María Sandoval, yesterday visited the works of the fruit and vegetable center of the company Wolmark Alimentos Ecológicos in Mazarrón, recipient of various help lines of the Rural Development Program (PDR).
The company, created in 2005, is a leader in innovation, as well as in circular economy in the management of its products.
It produces ecological agriculture and commercializes agricultural products in leased facilities located in the district of Morata, where there is no material possibility of expansion.
Therefore, they have acquired a land of 109,317 square meters near the highway that leads to Mazarrón, in El Espinar, where it builds its new facilities (3,440 m2), which are close to the production points and well connected to the roads terrestrial
The products that will work are watermelon, melon, pepper and zucchini, in the summer season;
and broccoli, cauliflower and lettuce in the winter season.
