The dance school 'De Rosa' wins again the parade of floats (10/12/2018)

The De Rosa Dance School once again won the traditional Float Parade organized by the Municipality of Mazarrón coinciding with the end of the Patron Saint Festivities in honor of the Purísima Concepción.

14 floats participated in an event that offered color and fun on a sunny Sunday morning.

The parade started from Antonio Machado Street and continued along La Vía Street, to continue on San Pascual Street and finish at its junction on Avenida de la Constitución.

The second prize was for the Antonio Jara Dance School, the third prize for the AMPA of the CEIP La Aceña de Mazarrón, the fourth for the Dance School of Juan Antonio Iglesias, the fifth for the AMPA of the CEIP Manuela Romero of Puerto de Mazarrón and the sixth prize for the Peña de La Atalaya and the sixth for the AMPA of the CEIP Francisco Caparrós de Mazarrón.

The awards ceremony took place in the Tent of the Day Fair in charge of the mayor of Mazarrón, Alicia Jiménez and the councilor of Festejos Patricio Sánchez.

The amount of the prizes awarded was 1,500 euros for the first, 1,000 for the second, 500 euros for the third and 400 euros for the fourth, fifth, sixth place and seventh place.

The Classic Vehicles Association opened the parade, followed by the Carnival Platform, to give way to the chariots of the míster and infantile queen and bridesmaids, the one of the Queen of the Festivities, the Third Age, an orchard carriage and the floats that entered to contest.

The jury valued, to give the first place, the color, the staging and the choreography of the members of the float of the De Rosa Dance School, inspired by the African tribes.
