The appointment will take place on the slopes of La Cañadica from 9 in the morning to 9 at night
This Saturday, the Petanque facilities of La Cañadica host the 12 Regional Petanque Hours organized by the Petanque Club Mazarrón Costa Cálida in collaboration with the City Council of Mazarrón.
The appointment has been presented by the Councilor for Sports, Francisco José García, who was accompanied by the secretary and treasurer of the club, José Andreo and Juan Garro respectively.
José Andreo explained that "this meeting has been held for 3 years and it will participate in between 60 and 65 people who will arrive from all parts of the Region of Murcia."
Garro also added that "the appointment will take place from 9 in the morning to 9 at night, so that people can approach throughout the day to get to know this sport better."
In this sense, Juan Garro also said that he stressed that "people are encouraged, but especially young people and children so that when we are now we can not continue to have someone who can move on with this sport," remembering that there have been many successes that this sport modality has given Mazarrón.
The Councilor for Sports encouraged citizens "to practice some kind of sport and petanque can be a good option" and encouraged neighbors to approach the facilities of La Cañadica because "it is a holiday in which we are sure it will accompany the good weather "thus encouraging" all families to go out and get involved with the sport in our municipality ".
