On the occasion of the Christmas Festivities, the Department of Culture of the City Council of Mazarrón, and with the purpose of maintaining the tradition and encouraging the preparation of nativity scenes, summons the V Route of Nativity scenes for the present year 2019, whose registration period opens on Next Monday, December 2.
All institutions, associations, establishments and individuals who wish may participate in the route, presenting a single work per group or individual.
Participating Nativity scenes must include at least the three fundamental scenes: "Annunciation of the Shepherds", "Birth" and "Adoration of the Kings".
The style, materials, technique and size to be used in the construction of the "Bethlehem" is at the free choice of the participants, who will undertake to expose their nativity scenes to the general public until the end of the Christmas holidays on January 6, 2020.
Each participant will establish the schedule they deem appropriate.
However, it undertakes to open at least 12 days within the calendar scheduled between December 21 and January 6, in order to facilitate visits.
The schedules must be stable and regular, with a minimum of 3 hours each opening day.
On the registration form, participants must inform the organization of the dates and times in which they agree to keep the Bethlehem open to the public.
All those interested in participating must correctly complete a registration application that must be submitted from December 2 to 12, 2019. The maximum date for formalization will be on December 12, 2019 at 2:00 p.m.
Registration can be done via email casasconsistoriales@mazarron.es or at the town hall itself.
Mazarrón City Council will give each of the participating nativity scenes with articles related to the Bethlehem valued at € 70.00.
