The renewed Mountain Bike circuit of the Sports Complex of the Media Legua hosted last Sunday the I XCO 'Bay of Mazarrón' that attracted about 300 cyclists to the municipality, among older and small fans of this modality.
The ProBike Mazarrón Cycling Club, the Department of Sports and the Cycling Federation of the Region of Murcia promoted this event with which the Mazarrón circuit has once again shown in optimal conditions for the practice of this sport thanks to the improvements made in it .
As far as the winners are concerned, Fabian Molina prevailed on Elite Men who took the podium with José David Latorre and Daniel Soriano, who were second and third respectively.
In Females 'A', Sandra Alonso obtained the first place, followed by Desireé Moya who was the second classified and Cecilia Sopeña who was third.
The trophies in the adult categories, participating in it 152 cyclists, were delivered by the mayor of Mazarrón, Gaspar Miras, and the Councilor for Sports, Francisco José García;
while in the 'Kids Series' modality, involving 134 children of various ages, were delivered by councilors Francisco José García, Plácida Gómez and Raquel Raja who were accompanied by the president of the Murciana Cycling Federation, Sergio Martínez.
