The fifth edition (fourth in the category of adults) Poetry Contest "declares-te" that promotes the Department of Education and Libraries of the City of Mazarrón and has new winners.
Friday Mazarrón Cultural Center hosted the awards ceremony of an event for which this year there have been a total of 80 jobs.
The delivery was attended by the Councillor for Education, Patricio Sánchez, who wanted to congratulate the winners and all other participants for the quality of poetic works submitted to the contest this year.
In the embodiment of adults first prize for poetry was titled "Construction" Marina Alcolea, presented under the name "1963".
The second prize went to "Looks that do not cross" Javier Hervas who appeared under the pseudonym "The Castaway".
The third prize went to poetry entitled "Tonight" from Carmen Gómez, who signed with the pseudonym "Aldonza Lorenzo".
The winners received a box of experiences worth 200, 150 and 75 euros respectively.
And in the category of high school students, the winning poem was "Losing the fear of wanting to" Cristina Cotes, second Bachelor student of IES Domingo Valdivieso, who signed with the pseudonym "CR".
The second prize went to poetry "Nights" of Mari Carmen Cava, a student of second Bachelor of IES Domingo Valdivieso, who signed under the pseudonym of "Luna".
The third prize went to "The bitter thorn" Ana Maria Eagle, also student of IES Domingo Valdivieso, who presented his work under the pseudonym "The bow of the winds".
The awards consisted of a tablet priced at 200 euros for the first, a smartwatch valued at 150 euros for the second and a voucher of 75 euros to be exchanged for the third prize.
The poetry contest "declares-te" responds to the plan of promoting reading in the municipal libraries work.
