Manuel Luna brings in Carlantum his vision of festive rituals (24/02/2016)

Manuel Luna Samperio, a professor of anthropology at the UCAM and ethnomusicologist known for his studies of folk, will be tonight at Mazarrón to take part in the third conference of Carlantum, cultural events organized by the People's University of Mazarrón in collaboration with the City Council to meet its fourteenth edition.

The lecture takes place on Wednesday at 21.30 in the exhibition hall of the CIME and entitled "Heritage and Development. Festive rituals and crews."

Finally on Friday, February 26, Carmen Berrocal, Pedro Esteban, Miguel Martinez, Juan Francisco Belmar and Juan Pedro Navarro presented the minutes of the XI Conference Carlantum.

This lecture series was born as an instrument for open spaces for reflection that deal with Mazarrón, in order to be an active part of the future and form an interest in issues related to the municipality, as wished to recall in his presentation director People's University, José María López.
