The Local Red Cross Assembly and the City Council of Mazarrón, through the Councils of Civil Protection and Social Policy, have agreed to activate preventive measures on the occasion of the announcement of the State Meteorological Agency that foresees a sudden drop in temperatures for the area Campo de Cartagena and Mazarrón from the night of Tuesday, January 17.
The measure involves the implementation of the social emergency unit to meet those who spend the night.
Blankets, hot drink and a sleeping bag will be provided and the habilitation as a lodge of the pavilion of La Cañadica.
Likewise, an agreement has also been reached with a municipality's pension to pay the same attention.
