In total there have been more than 200 Primary students who have participated in the various tests of a new edition of the local juvenile and young phase of the activity "Playing the Athletics", belonging to the school sports program.
Children from seven schools in the municipality have participated, for two weeks, in this specialty that consists of overcoming six combined tests.
In the Benjamin category, CEIP Miguel Delibes of Puerto de Mazarrón and CEIP La Cañadica de Mazarrón took first place in the women's and men's classification, respectively.
Patricio Sánchez, councilor of Sports of the City of Mazarrón, congratulated all the participating schools and proceeded to the protocolal delivery of medals to the first three classified.
Last week was CEIP La Cañadica which won the first place in the women's classification and CEIP Manuela Romero in the men's classification, this time in the fry category.
Both teams, together with the two winners of the juvenile category will represent the municipality in the final regional stage.
It is worth noting the good performance of the other participating centers: CEIP Francisco Caparrós, CEIP Bahia, CEIP San Antonio and Siglo XXI.
