Management and associations show their commitment to the defense of women's equality in the world of work. The main events take place this Wednesday, March 8, with the reading of the Manifesto and a conference organized by OMEP. (08/03/2017)

Administration and different groups are immersed this week in an agenda of events committed to the defense of equality of women in the world of work.

After the family march of this Sunday organized by the Friends of Nature Hiking Club, the program of events takes on a new leading role this Wednesday, March 8 with the Reading of the Manifesto on International Women's Day by the mayor Of Mazarrón, Alicia Jiménez, starting at 12:00 pm, in the Plaza del Convento.

Also on Wednesday, from 19:00 hours in the Hall of Cultural Center, two events promoted by the Organization of Women Entrepreneurs and Professionals of Mazarrón (OMEP) will be held.

Firstly, a lecture by Sheila Templado entitled "Business Experiences of the Mazarron Woman".

Templado received the 2015 Entrepreneurial Woman Award from the Region of Murcia.

Then the discussion table "Stories of improvement" will be held, with María Ángeles Palazón, Mercedes Bosque and Amorina Andrea Gómez.

On Saturday, March 11, the Antonio Jara Dance School organizes a fun flashmob with a start at the weekly and final market in the Town Hall Square.

Finally, on Sunday, March 12, at 7:00 p.m., in the Cultural Center Auditorium, the Women Mazarronera 2017 prize will be held, with the performance of the Terpsícore dance academy.
