The players of the Molina Basket were proclaimed Sunday regional champions of the Final Four Cadet Women's Basketball held in Mazarrón.
The mayor, Alicia Jiménez, attended the final and the subsequent trophies presentation that took place in the Municipal Pavilion of La Aceña that filled their stands during the celebration of the championship.
The president of the Federation of Basketball of the Region of Murcia, Juan Carlos Hernandez, presented the championship cup to the captain of the ACG Molina Basket that won 70-61 AD to the Infante de Murcia, eventually runner-up.
The podium of the tournament was completed SuperDumbo Maristas Murcia and Bahía de Mazarrón.
The championship generated an ample expectation throughout the weekend, attracting to the municipality to visitors fans to the basketball.
