Sánchez Dragon in the tales Villa de Mazarrón (28/07/2017)

The Sánchez Dragó conference "The tale or the tip of the iceberg" gives way to the prize giving of the Story Competition "Villa de Mazarrón - Antonio Segado del Olmo" to be held today at 11:00 pm at the Hotel Playa Grande

Sánchez Dragó was National Prize of Essay in 1979 by "Gárgoris and Habidis.

He received the Planeta Prize in 1992 for "The Test of the Labyrinth" and the Fernando Lara Prize for "Parallel Deaths" in 2006. His extensive literary career and his projection in the media contributes more relevance to the Mazarron contest.

Miguel Sánchez Robles, winner of the contest

Miguel Sánchez Robles has been the winner of the XXXIII edition of the Villa de Mazarrón Tales Contest for his story entitled "La vida a ciegas".

Concha Fernández González has been awarded with his story "El río de los Suicidas".

The awards ceremony will take place on Friday, July 28th starting at 11:00 pm at the Playa Grande de Mazarrón hotel.

According to the Popular University of Mazarrón, organizer of the contest, as more significant data of the edition of the "Villa de Mazarrón" this year we can highlight the great quality of the works presented.

As far as participation is concerned, the origin of the work is shared between those of our country and those from Spanish-speaking countries, which constitute a high percentage of all submitted to competition, with almost 40% of the total.
