The proclamation of Borja Paredes opens the Bolnuevo festivities this Friday (09/11/2017)

Borja Paredes Vivancos will open with his proclamation this Friday the Fiestas del Milagro de Bolnuevo.

With roots in the fishermen's hamlet, Borja Paredes picks up the Pedro Miguel Muñoz witness, pregonero in 2016. Paredes, 32 years old married and with two children, is a bank employee in Mazarrón and very linked to the Bolnuevo fiestas by family tradition .

The proclamation will take place in the municipal tent starting at 9:30 p.m.

After the proclamation, Mara Bang Band will offer a concert with which the ludic events of the festivities will begin.

On Saturday, November 11, at the Torre de los Caballos, there will be an explanatory cultural visit of the Miracle of Bolnuevo with a pass in English at 10:00 and in Spanish at 12:00.

Already in the evening, at 9:00 p.m., the Festival Commission has organized the First Spanish Tortilla Contest.

It will be in the municipal tent of Bolnuevo, where the group "Al relente" will give a concert of flamenco-pop versions.

Sunday, November 12 will be the first great day of the liturgical calendar of the holidays.

At 9:30 am, the procession of the Virgen del Milagro ascent to Mazarrón will start from the hermitage of Bolnuevo, where it will be received by the civil and religious authorities in the Jardim de la Purísima.

Later the image will be transferred to the church of San Andrés where the Holy Mass will be celebrated.

The Virgin of Bolnuevo will remain in this temple until the day of the Pilgrimage, which will be next Sunday, November 19.

Those who wish to visit the image can do so every morning from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
