Free routes to know the history and admire the landscape of the Bay of Mazarrón (03/04/2018)

The Department of Tourism of the City of Mazarrón offers for this month of April three new routes that invite you to know the history and beauty of the landscape of the Bay of Mazarrón.

The first one will take place next Saturday, April 7.

It will be a visit that will reveal the history of Town Hall, an emblematic modernist building that now houses the municipal plenary sessions and that offers its rooms to host different cultural exhibitions.

Along with the visit to the Town Halls (exterior and interior) details of other contemporary buildings will be known, such as the old Casino-Athenaeum (exterior) or the Mansion House of the Monche-Ríos, also known as "Casa de la Cañadica" ( Exterior).

The visit, lasting 2 hours, has a limit of 40 places (20 on line and 20 face-to-face).

Registration can be formalized until April 6 at 1:30 p.m.

For this month of April he has also planned a hiking route that will show the scenic beauty of the bay of Mazarrón between Isla Plana and La Azohía.

It will be Saturday, April 14.

It is a linear route of 11 kilometers, of low difficulty, with an expected duration of 3 to 4 hours.

The registration period is now open and ends on April 13 at 1:00 p.m.

40 places (20 on line and 20 face-to-face).

Finally for Saturday, April 28 is scheduled the visit "After the Traces of the Past" that will reveal the archaeological remains excavated in Puerto de Mazarrón;

"Villa del Alamillo" or "Villa de Ramón Pérez";

also traveled through streets near the Playa del Puerto where the Necropolis de la Molineta, Roman House of Calle Era and Roman Factory of Salazones were excavated. The visit, of 2 hours, has a limit of 40 places (20 on line and 20 face-to-face).

Registration can be formalized until April 27 at 1:30 p.m.
