The Popular University houses an exhibition dedicated to 18 intellectuals linked to the Second Republic (09/04/2018)

The exhibition hall of the Popular University of Mazarrón located in the Cultural Center hosts until April 14 an exhibition dedicated to 18 contemporary intellectuals to the Second Republic.

There are 79 paintings in which the biographies of painters, poets and novelists are collected, including names such as Pablo Picasso, Federico García Lorca or Miguel Hernández.

Pedro Martinez, Councilor for Culture of the City of Mazarrón, attended the opening of a show that dedicated his first day to the figure of Marcos Ana and Carlos Pardo, an artist included in the exhibition that still lives.

Manoli Sevilla voiced the poems of Marcos Ana during a meeting that was presented by Sergio Marín.

The exhibition is organized by the Association Friends of the Republic of Mazarrón and has the collaboration of members of the Association of Residents of Bolnuevo.

The exhibition can be seen until April 14 from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.

Each day will be dedicated to two intellectuals.
