This summer Mazarrón will have a new leisure exposure by Dinosaurs and Prehistoric Animals, DINOPÉTREA, for both children and great, stand in the sports hall of CEIP Manuel Romero de Puerto de Mazarrón and will be open from Monday to Sunday from 11.00 to 14.00 and from 18.00 to 22.00.
This morning the mayor of Mazarrón, Francisco Blaya, and the Councillor of Tourism, Alicia Jiménez, together with the Chairman of the Foundation Facops, Javier Val, have visited this new exhibition to accompany the Mazarron throughout the summer.
This is a sample of paleontology traveling with meteorites, excavations and 18 skeletons of dinosaurs.
In this spectacular exhibition, organized by Facops, helps the Department of Culture of the City of Mazarron, through cultural and exhibition space 'town hall'.
The objective is to disseminate Facops art and science, considering the "flagship" to paleontology, so that you learn while having fun visitors, for which the founding members are 25 years of work and collecting scientific fossils and replicas of the best museums in the world.
This work wants a quarter century culminating with the installation of a permanent museum pieces, for which funds are sought with this exhibition that has already gone through ten other Spanish cities.
In this compelling presentation, attendees will learn, through their skeletons, an ancestor of the Loch Ness monster, from Colorado, United States 14-meter-long, a cave bear from Russia of 2.85 meters height and 10,000 years ago, the dinosaur with the longest neck of the world or the most terrifying carnivore that existed 25 million years ago and the ancestor of the white shark's jaw with a two meters in diameter.
Tickets, costing five euros, can be purchased at a kiosk located in the theme Marina.
