The municipality of Mazarrón is preparing for the Carnival 2011.
This year's carnival celebrations will house several new features.
The first is the intention to have as protagonists the children of the town, so much so that the Hall has organized a contest for which the students can design the poster for the carnival.
This contest is open to boys and girls were now studying 3 °, 4, 5 and 6 of primary education in all schools in the municipality of Mazarrón.
Entries must be submitted on a sheet of A4 paper, the originals must be delivered without the signature of the author and be accompanied by a sealed envelope with a slogan, which also appear on the back of the poster and in the statement.
The contest will establish a single award consisting of a console.
The delivery of the work will last until Monday, February 14 at 14.00 pm in the council of Events, located on the ground floor of the Consistory.
The Department of the City Festival in conjunction with the clubs and associations in the county, participating in the Carnival 2011, determined to organize this competition in order to give greater prominence to children's collective municipality of Mazarrón.
