This weekend took place in Alicante on 'IX Open International Tae Kwon-do' with the participation of forty countries and over 110 different clubs including international teams.

Club Tae Kwon-do of Mazarrón has been represented by four local athletes, highlighting the participation of Antonio Mendez, who has won the gold medal at 61 kilograms, beating in the final representative of Portugal.

In the Open International Tae Kwon-do, it is worth noting the sportsmanship shown by the Mazarron Rubén García (in 41 kg), Marina Moreno (in 47 kg) and Juan Méndez Pérez (87 kg).
