During the months of July and August, has been carried out from the CD Mazarrón Table Tennis and the council of Sports City of Mazarrón a summer school to introduce the youth of the municipality in the sport.
The summer school has been very well received by young Mazarron, since in both months are past the twenty participating students.
In addition, due to high demand of applications had to extend the scheduled classes being the end of 10 am to 2 pm.
In summer school children have participated with ages ranging from 4 to 13 years.
Classes are taught by Higinio Gonzalez, diploma in teaching Physical Education and Sports Technical Level 1, and Daniel Moreno, 4 students of Geography and Table Tennis monitor.
Among the contents covered include the basics of hitting right and upside down, all through forms of play, and the values ​​of respect for opponents, fair play and the importance of improvement.
Values ​​that the Department of Sports wants to encourage young athletes between the municipality.
From the CD Mazarrón Table Tennis and the consistory appealed to young people who want to start Mazarron and have fun with this sport, which will offered a year in the program of the Municipal Sports Schools.
