The Regional Government is committed to splitting the road between Puerto Mazarron and during this term (12/11/2011)

The Mayor of Mazarron, Ginés Campillo, met this week in the palace of St. Stephen with the President of the Autonomous Community of Murcia, Ramón Luis Valcárcel, in his first meeting between the two after taking office as first mayor of the municipality.

Valcárcel Campillo asked what contribution the Regional Government was more urgent to Mazarron.

The Mayor was concerned about the urgent need to tackle the widening of the road between Mazarron and Puerto and ripped the president's commitment that the work will take place in this legislature.

Ginés Campillo said that "there was a very cordial and mutual understanding, but for budgetary reasons may not start work in 2012, the President has assured me that the split will be undertaken in this legislature."

And away the ghosts that predicted that there would be a good understanding between the City of Mazarron and the Autonomous Community.

"We talked and we are committed to that there is no discrimination between the two governments," said Campillo, who came to the meeting with the homework done after a major grant to return to the Autonomous Community, thus showing their responsibility to citizens and other governments.

After discussing other topics of interest to regional president, the Mayor of Mazarron is also met with the Minister of Education, Training and Employment, Sotoca Constantine.

At this meeting made three requests Ginés Campillo counselor.

First Campillo won the commitment that, once past the General Elections, Sotoca go to the official opening of the school "Number 3" in Puerto de Mazarron.

In a second request, the Mayor asked the Ministry of Education to expand the training courses that are taught in vocational training.

In this sense, Ginés Campillo cycles called because they are related to the hospitality and services that are put in place urgently, to reach young people as soon as quality training, due to the importance of tourism in Mazarron, help them find a job and serve to improve these sectors locally.

Third, and in connection with this last point, the Mayor of Mazarron requested the launch of a hotel school in Mazarron.

Although Sotoca exposed the lack of infrastructure as the main problem in carrying out this idea, he proposed using Campillo Ginés the manor of La Canada as a place to host this school.

But this is not the only place that deck, because the mayor told the counselor that the municipality is in talks with the family that owns what is known as "Casa Rolandi" for the Council to take care of it and the put in value, for example, this project.

Both meetings were very fruitful and felt a good fit for future meetings.
