19 people participate in an orientation course in nature given by the SEM and Civil Protection (02/12/2011)

During the month of April was made, by the Municipal Emergency Service and Civil Protection, an orientation course in nature with two levels, basic and advanced, for the emergency services of the municipality and with the participation of 19 people in the field Civil Protection, Red Cross and 061.

The theoretical and practical training activities took place between Mazarron and Sierra Espuña, with a total of 30 hours, through which students learned to work proficiently in nature, guided by various means and starting in the sport of Orientation.

This practice made numerous official competition on maps and other various scales and themes.

Yesterday he delivered to the City Hall of the diplomas have been issued by the Directorate General of Security and Emergency in the Autonomous Community of Murcia who has taught the course approved by the Town Council of Mazarron through the area Trainer Emergency Technical Services Muncipal (SEM), Daniel Garcia José Aragón.

This type of training, in addition to its practical utility to acquire the knowledge necessary to perform the tasks of search and rescue of missing persons, it also allows closer ties between individuals and groups through team work.

The delivery was made by the Mayor, Ginés Campillo, and the Civil Protection councilor, Miguel Maria Encarnacion.

Also were delivered to the director of the College Ginés García de Mazarron, the Diploma training course PAS (Protect, warning and relief) that were made by the teachers themselves in the center last May and also given technical area the SEM.
