Start the XXII edition of the "daily Mazarrón" (09/02/2012)

The Mazarron 's citizenship, both young and adults, are called to share one more year in the "Mazarrón Day by Day" organized by the People's University (UPM) and now has opened its deadline for submission of papers, which can compete in 6 different modes.

These are Poetry, Short Story, Writing, Photography, Comics, and Drawing and Painting.

The conditions of competition are divided into various categories ranging from primary school courses to adults, resulting in a total of 25 categories.

The presentation has been made by the Mayor of Mazarron, Ginés Campillo, and the director of the UPM, Jose Maria Lopez Ballesta, who have encouraged participation and stressed that this year "highly appreciated" that the works refer to the celebration of 440 years of independence the municipality, although the subject is free.

Thus, students of the municipality may participate actively in this celebration and to artistically capture the learning from the E-Books on the history of Mazarron, edited and presented by the City Council last week.

Can compete, as well as all persons residing in the township, those that somehow are linked to Mazarron.

Each participant may submit up to 3 works until 30 March.

The students presented the work preferably in their respective schools, while adults have to take them to the VHS or send them under the title XXII Contests and Awards "Mazarrón Day by Day", to the address of the Constitution Avenue, 65 CP 30,870 - Mazarron (Murcia).

There is only one prize of 200 euros for categories of adults and 50 euros for the remaining school supplies.

Also, it includes a prize of 300 euros for the center to register a higher rate of participation in this call.

The awards ceremony will be held on April 20 and also made a presentation of the papers presented at the auditorium of the PSU 20 to April 29.

The Mayor of Mazarron, Ginés Campillo, Ballesta Lopez shared with the idea of ​​"spend 5 minutes to the soul and creativity" through participation in this contest and has called the contest "smart" because, by involving the centers, "it is achieved that the children take an interest in participating in the activities of the municipality."
