This weekend, new joys were harvested by sports clubs in the municipality.
This time has been the Athletic Club Mazarron which has achieved several successes in two championships held in the Region.
First it is noteworthy that the athlete Paul Mendez excelled dramatically in Spain Championship Indoor for the blind and visually impaired.
This young Mazarron got three gold medals hanging from the Benjamin category during that tournament that was held in the town of San Javier.
Paul Mendez was first in the long jump test, 60 meter dash and 800 meter dash.
The athlete showed once again its capacity to improve harvesting these new successes.
Also, this past weekend was held at the sports center "The Almarjal" of the town of Cehegin Regional Championship final indoor track in the category where Benjamin and Youngsters Club athletes participated 3.
Alvaro Carreno Zamora was shot put champion and a semifinalist in the test of 60 meters.
Zamora Tomas Ballesta also won medals.
Specifically finished third in the race of 500 meter dash and sixth in 60 meters.
Finally Carlos Navarro Asensio, who closed the club's involvement in the championship, was a semifinalist in the 50-meter dash.
