This weekend Amateur Cultural Association "Costa Blanca" (ACRACB) from Alicante to Mazarron moves to hold a conference in the International Amateur Competition "Castles in Spain".
The said association, in collaboration with the Radio Club Mazarrón and the City through the departments of Tourism and Heritage, will operating the Castle of Vélez and the Tower of Horses to carry out this contest.
Specifically, this Saturday 22 will be operating the Castle of Vélez with indicative CMU-014 from 9 to 13 pm, and Sunday 23 will be the Tower of horses which will be operational at the same time under the indicative CMU-071 .
For this initiative stations and antennas installed in these locations that operate ham Mazarron and Murcia, who expect to make about 1000 contacts with other hams in Spain and other parts of the Mediterranean.
The Radio Club Mazarrón invites all citizens to approach the historical monuments to discover how the competition unfolds and how connections are made between different hams.
The initiative took place a few days ago from the Tower of St. Elizabeth in The Summit, where they came to be more than 250 contacts in just two hours.
It is also expected to soon also operable from the windlass and Calentín Castle, located in the official list of the contest.
