Petanque Club "Our Lady of Health" by the Andalusian village of Velez-Rubio, was the champion team in the Championship "12 hours daytime regional pitch" which was held at the premises of the pitch last Saturday Cañadica and was organized by the Club de Petanque Mazarrón "Costa Calida".
About a hundred of players gathered in Mazarrón came from nearly all bowls clubs in the region and the Andalusian club said.
On the computer "Virgen de la Salud" Lorenzo Mendez plays Mazarron Cifuentes, who was twice runner-up in this sport and currently a member of the Spanish team in the sport.
The team was the Runner Up Barqueros Petanque Club, absolute champions Spain.
The championship ended after 9 pm with the awards ceremony and a snack of coexistence.
During the morning, the players received the Mayor's view of Mazarrón, Ginés Campillo, and the Councillor for Sports, Andrew James, whom the board of Mazarron Bowls Club "Costa Calida" reported club needs.
Valera also attended the fellowship meal held at noon and in which the mayor gave participants a gift in memory of the tournament and tomatoes donated by the company Mazarron "Agrimur".
Players participating clubs congratulated Mazarrón Petanque Club "Costa Calida" for the good organization of the tournament and promised to go in future editions.
The club wanted to send a special thank you "to all business partners for their support, without which we could not have undertaken this sporting event."
They also wanted to acknowledge the assistance provided by the City of Mazarrón, in addition to the trophies, provided the memories that were given to the participants during the fellowship meal.
