The exhibition "Placenta" Emilio explores tenebrismo Cerezo in the town hall (27/02/2013)

Until March 23 you can visit in the basement of the Town Hall of Mazarrón exposure "Plancenta" Cerezo artist Emilio Mazarron.

The sample consists of a total of 13 pictures in which we can see animals and people on a black background and plotted on a prominent influence of painters like Lucian Freud and Francis Bacon.

The opening hours of the town hall is open Monday to Saturday from 10 to 14, and Thursday and Friday evenings from 17-20 hours, staying closed on March 19.

The exhibition was opened on Friday by the Councillor for Culture, Maria Celeste Soria, and the author of the sample who were also accompanied by the mayor of Rural Development, Magdalena Mendez, as well as friends and family of the young artist Mazarron.

He stressed that his paintings "have a dark background, giving them a dense atmosphere. Figures are isolated in their own contexts that are similar to tenebristas and Baroque Caravaggio".

Emilio Cerezo also said the idea that tries to convey through these paintings "is that each figure is engrossed in a holder, isolated from the rest".

This is the first sign that this exposes BFA in Mazarrón.

Councillor for Culture encouraged citizens to visit the exhibition and that "although some of the works are of small size, have much to say" and said that "his contemplation not leave anyone indifferent."
