This morning the Mayor of Mazarrón, Ginés Campillo, and the rector of the Polytechnic University of Cartagena (UPCT), Jose Antonio Franco, have signed a collaboration agreement between the two institutions to carry out various activities and initiatives in the fields of education, scientific , cultural, tourist and social.
Among the aspects to be developed include training activities, technical services and teachers, students practice for UPCT in the consistory, evaluation reports and studies, collaborative cooperation programs with universities in other countries, among others.
As said Jose Antonio Franco, "Today is an important day and satisfaction by signing this agreement with the City of Mazarrón".
The rector of the UPCT explained that "in our university there are about 80 students from Mazarrón. Many of them will benefit from this agreement. Besides this agreement signed today is extensive and, in addition to the practices that might make students referred to a wide range of possibilities such as implementation of courses, research groups or companies technical initiatives in the municipality. "
The Mayor of Mazarrón, Ginés Campillo, thanked the rector of the UPCT their readiness "to implement this agreement with the continuing progress in defense and promotion of Education, one of the many ways by which we are betting from the session and for which we have been fighting against other government cuts. "
In this regard, note that there have also signed agreements with the University of Murcia (UMU) and the Catholic University San Antonio of Murcia (UCAM), have restored ties with the Universidad del Mar (UNIMAR), and scholarships were offered study, among other prominent initiatives.
