The Sports Club Cartagena Mediterranean rose on Wednesday May 1 as I champion Youngsters Soccer Tournament 8 "Bay of Mazarrón" organized by the local club Mazarrón Football Foundation with support from the Department of Sports City of Mazarrón.
Besides the two aforementioned teams also participated in the Games Murciana Selection Benjamin and Recreation Cultural Association Football School Eagles.
More than fifty children enjoyed this championship to be held at the Estadio Municipal de Mazarrón.
In the first semifinal of the tournament, the Mediterranean and the ACR CD Eagles played a thrilling encounter which ended tied at 2 goals.
In the shootout, the team won Cartagena from the point of reaching its maximum penalty in the final.
In the other semifinal, the team defeated Benjamin Mazarrón Murcia by FB (1-0).
It so happens that three players playing together with the selection Mazarron Murcia, so that the meeting had a strong local flavor.
In the end, the Mediterranean CD clearly won 6 goals to 1 in the Selection Murciana Benjamin, who could not hold a good game of Cartagena.
In regards to the match for third place in the tournament, the Eagles beat ACR also clearly the Mazarrón FB by 6 points to 2.
The awards ceremony, once the tournament was conducted by the mayor of Sports, Andrew James, and other members of Mazarron football club.
Also given a trophy for the best player of the championship, recognition went to the young Laura Sanchez Mediterranean CD.
