430 children s involved in swimming courses sports council (02/09/2013)

On Friday it closed the third and final year of swimming this year 2013 organized by the Department of Sports City of Mazarrón.

In total, 430 children participated in the 3 courses that have been developed in the swimming pool of the sports "Jesus Canovas Valenzuela".

All have received their diplomas from the hands of the Councillor for Sports, Andrew James, the Councillor for Rural Development, Magdalena Mendez, and the mayor of Civil Protection, Miguel M ª García.

It has also been well received maintenance classes with 125 older who has completed these courses during the months of July and August.

Although the classes are completed, the swimming pool will open to the public every day (except Sundays) from 9 to 27 September at 16-20 hours hours, as the 2 to 7 tests are held XIV Military National Championship Lifesaving.

Also, from 9 to 27 September 9 to 13 hours will be used by schools.

The mayor of Sports has highlighted "the great success of these courses by children, many of whom are new to the sport through this activity."

Also, today has started XIV National Championship Lifesaving Military that another year is celebrated in our town until 6 September.

It is expected that in the coming days, both the Mayor of Mazarrón, Ginés Campillo, as the mayor of Sports, make a visit to the local swimming pool to greet the components of the different teams that are among the Military Emergency Unit (EMU) and the Guardia Civil.

This competition is sponsored by the Council for Physical Education and Sports of the Armed Forces, Ministry of Defense, and organized by the Head of Education of the General Directorate of the Civil Guard.
