The book "Written in Memory" collects the life and customs of the people of Mazarrón (03/10/2013)

This Friday October 4 shows from 20:30 pm in the auditorium of the Centro Cultural de Mazarrón, better known as' House of Culture ', the book "Written in Memory' of Mazarron Juan Francisco Belmar.

The publication, sponsored by the brotherhood of 'San Juan Evangelista' de Mazarrón and the collaboration of the City of Mazarrón, is a work of ethnography that focuses on the life and customs of the people living in Mazarrón and fields, collecting their experiences and reconstructing the history of the town from them.

As the author explained, "the text is placed in the middle years of the last century, in an interval between the beginning and end of the century and shows what a person's life over that time. Accompanying text over 180 photographs descriptive of the rural area, many of them recovered in the districts of Mazarrón "said Juan Francisco Belmar.

The presentation will be borne by the Councillor for the City of New Technologies Mazarrón, Matilde Blazquez, president of the brotherhood of 'San Juan Evangelista' de Mazarrón, Andrew Aznar, and the author of the book, and will feature the Mazarron Deputy Regional Assembly, Alicia Jimenez, the parish priest of the parish of San Antonio de Padua and San Andres, Julio Romero, the doctor in anthropology, Jose Sanchez Conesa, the poet and literary critic, Soren Penalver.
