This past weekend Hiking Club "Friends of Nature" and the Department of Sports City of Mazarrón held one of the traditional routes that led participants to visit the town of Mula.
This time, the route was more than just hiking up because it was a cultural tour to visit some of the most important archaeological sites Mulenen town and the museums of the city available.
Participants learned about the history of the Roman town of Villaricos, Iberian Art Museum 'The Cigarralejo' and the Museum of Art 'San Miguel', thanks to guides belonging to the Department of Tourism of the City of Mula who helped activity.
Walkers also walked through the center of the city, visiting the popular market town where homemade sausage could taste typical local sweets.
The next activity scheduled by the "Friends of Nature" also have a cultural dimension and will be held in Mazarrón.
Specifically, on Sunday November 3 II will celebrate the Cultural Route 'Castles and Monuments of Mazarron Mines' in which the departments collaborate Sports and Tourism of the City of Mazarrón.
Latter a guide to enable participants to see first hand the heritage Mazarron.
In addition, this initiative will have a strong solidarity as participants must provide 2 euro which will go to the local board of Mazarrón Spanish Association Against Cancer (AECC).
