The municipality will develop the project 'Promoting local tourism and visitor information' thanks to a grant from the SEF (14/01/2014)

Mazarrón Town Council has received a grant from the Ministry of Education, Universities and Employment CARM amounting to 175,419, 36 euros which will go to the project 'Local Tourism Promotion and Information Away', which will be promoted from the Department of Employment, Training and Development Local council through 'Joint Employment and Training Program' Regional Employment and Training Service (SEF).

The purpose of this grant is to improve the employability of unemployed persons aged 25 to 54, by participating in temporary projects for the completion of works and services of public or social utility that allow employment through professionalization and gaining experience of the participants, as stated in the agreement of amendment.

Councillor for Employment, Training and Local Development, Matilde Blázquez, explained that "Thanks to this grant, we can strengthen one of the aspects that matter most to our town as tourism promotion."

To the mayor "in addition to this improvement, we also get another goal for which we are working as the employability of unemployed people and improving the training of those who face the labor market."
