A mobile application will reveal the status of Mazarron beaches live (24/01/2014)

In this sense, the Mazarrón Town Council has presented at meetings held with various British operators, a mobile application consisting of a program that will give real-time information from the beaches of the municipality.

The Mayor of Mazarrón, Ginés Campillo, explained that "this March we will have an application that will give real time information on our beaches ambient temperature, sea state, currents and waves, wind, sun and images through a webcam. This is a specialized collection of prospects for our destination campaign are planned for more than eight million downloads of this application. "

This application will allow divers, anglers, surfers, sailors sail and motor, as well as to anyone interested in visiting the beaches of Mazarrón, the status of the same and have the deals that both the council and entrepreneurs municipality published in this program with the aim of publicizing offers accommodation, gourmet menus, festivals, and cultural and sporting events, among others.

Currently, the municipality of Mazarrón has 6 flags with this certification Rihuete beaches, Castellar, Nares, Bolnuevo Bay and Board Seas.

The Mayor of Mazarrón, accompanied by Councilman Coastal Services, Miguel M ª García; got yesterday personally following 6 certifications from the president of the Institute for Spanish Tourism Quality (ICTE), Miguel viewer, along with other mayors of the Region of Murcia .

Also, the installation of new footbridges, footbaths, toilets, changing rooms, information boards, playground and beacons with systems that protect the seabed, are some of the improvements that will be on the beaches of Mazarrón this summer.
