Improve facilities and access to the promenade and beaches (28/07/2015)

Mazarrón City Council, through its departments of Services and Coastal Services, is proceeding and access facilities on the seafront of Puerto de Mazarrón and in the various beaches of the municipality.

In the Paseo is underway replacing palm trees affected by the plague of red palm weevil.

Already they planted fifteen new palm and proceeded to seal the holes with concrete in the already removed to avoid possible accidents involving pedestrians.

This seal design simulates the cobblestones and is provisional until a new palm plantation.

As for the beaches it has increased cleaning (three times daily) in new toilets.

These baths have replaced the previous, chemical type, and are connected to the supply network and sewage.

A performance that meets the objective of providing optimum hygienic conditions, while with it meets the quality criteria that make distinctions blue flag and Q for Quality Tourism.

For these works it has been supported infrastructure Mazarrón Bay Urban Engineering, responsible for maintaining and cleaning them.

Also Rihuete beaches, and Isla Paseo soon debut this summer 655 meters of prefabricated concrete walkways imitation wood.

The remains of previously accumulated sand on the stage will go to a tank being emptied and the water will seep into the sand.

Drains are installed in El Alamillo, Rihuete, Promenade, Island, Bay, Junta de los Mares, La Pava Nares, Castellar and Bolnuevo.
