The Mayor of Mazarrón, Alicia Jimenez and the Councillor for Employment and Local Development, Maria Angeles Roman, have held a meeting this week with the Director General of European Projects, Manuel Pleguezuelo.
At that meeting it has requested the collaboration between the municipality and the Office of European Projects.
Also, the inclusion of City Hall in European Projects was requested and were informed of the current situation in which programs in which the Local Development Agency is already working, as is the inclusion of Mazarrón on a Local Action Group it is the Ministry of Agriculture, the project studying Eufín fishing problems and alternative employment in the municipality.
To this must be added the Urban III project aims to develop the tourism potential of the municipality.
Also, interest was shown by all the European projects that are of interest to Mazarrón.
