The City of Mazarrón has achieved after several years of intense work, the approval of the Autonomous Community of Murcia for a new service plan regular urban public transport of passengers on a permanent basis which will benefit over 35,000 inhabitants the municipality.

In short, the City Department of Transportation proceed with tendering and award of the undertaking providing services for the implementation of the new Urban Transportation Service Mazarrón.

Cañada de Gallego, Pastrana, Alamillo, Bolnuevo, Puerto de Mazarrón, Atalaya, Leiva and Camposol are some of the places in the municipality which will be better connected, the distance between them less than 7 kilometers and the highest was 15 kilometers.

This new Coordination Plan has taken into account the new ways of communication with the municipality, such as highway Totana to Mazarron, Alhama the highway Mazarrón and Cartagena to Vera motorway to estimate the itinerary and the mileage of the buses to tour the town.

Among the new home stresses the connection to the areas A and B of Camposol and Alamillo offset to the point where the shuttle bus did not arrive earlier.

In service by the town of Mazarrón new routes pass through areas such as street route and Canada for facilitating movement of citizens within the urban core.

The geographical location, good climate and great tourist attraction of Mazarrón will become the second home nearby towns in the region and other regions, as well as Europeans who have chosen residence are some of the reasons Mazarrón which needed regular public transport.

The purchase of three buses and the hiring of six drivers will enable the development of this very interesting and necessary action for the citizens of Mazarrón, which will travel 242,155 miles a day.

The City Department of Transportation is committed to making viable a good use of this form of public transport in an efficient, comfortable, safe and effective.
