The next days 5 and 6 July will be held for the first time the 'Mazarrón Windsurfing Festival 2008', a sporting event, organized by the Club de Regatas de Mazarrón in collaboration with the Department of Sports City of Mazarrón, hosting long tests distance, freestyle, wave and slalom.
This morning, the Councillor for Sports, Francisco Antonio Raja, with the President of Club de Regatas de Mazarrón, Francisco Huertas, and the Coordinator of "Mazarrón Windsurf Festival ', José Antonio Madrid, presented this sporting event in the Race Club coastal town.
This event was created by the initiative of a group of windsurfers in the Region of Murcia, who with the support and cooperation of the Sailing Federation of Murcia have been promoting the development of these tests at strategic points of the coast of Murcia.
The Astellas and El Alamillo beaches are candidates to play this test framed in Murcia windsurfing circuit, as the organizers seek a wind term called "jaloque" facilitating the implementation of this test.
Those interested in participating can pre-register before July 5 at the Club de Regatas de Mazarrón or web www.crmazarron.com.
The Federation License for the year 2008, the class card this year and the document proving the age of the youth category are some of the requirements to compete.
