Senior Center Municipal de Mazarrón dependent on the Department of Social Policy of the City of Mazarrón has organized a trip to Tunisia for the month of October.
The trip is a tour of major cities, monuments, ethnography, and visits to three deserts in the country: mountain (Matmata), salt (Jot-el-Jerid) and sand (Sahara).
Participants will have a guide-companion throughout the trip and visit the Bardo Museum, Tophet, the Baths of Antoninus and the panoramic view of Puerto Punic Carthage, Cisterns, Grand Mosque and Mausoleum of the Barber of Kairouan, typical dinner in tent, museum Dar Cherait, carriage ride through a palm grove, Salt Lake Chott el Smite, Island of Djerba, Matmata troglodyte house, Amphitheatre of El Jem.
The tour price in full board is 651.50 euros.

Sunday, October 4 Mazarrón - Madrid (Airport): Tunisia - Monastir
Departing from the place and time indicated on private bus bound for Madrid Barajas Airport.
Special flight from Air Europa for Tunisia or Monastir.
Airport Assistance and transfer to hotel.
Dinner and accommodation in Tunisia Gamarthe.
Monday, October 5 Tunis - Bardo - Carthage - Sidi Bou Said - Tunisia
Breakfast at the hotel.
In the morning (Tunisia) visit the 'Museo del Bardo' which contains beautiful mosaics and a marvelous collection of archaeological remains.
Departure to Carthage Tophet view, the Baths of Antoninus through the Punic port.
Lunch.
Sidi Bou Said Departure Free time to stroll through this picturesque village.
Return to Tunisia, free time to visit the Medina and the old city.
Dinner and accommodation in Tunisia Gamarthe.
Tuesday, October 6 Tunisia - Kairouan - Gafsa - Tozeur / Nefta
Breakfast at the hotel.
In the morning departure to Kairouan, the capital of Islam in Africa.
Visit the Cisterns (Aghlabides Pond), Great Mosque and the Mausoleum of Barbero.
Lunch en route to a visit to a carpet factory.
Departure Gafsa with a stop in the city.
Arrive in Tozeur and Nefta.
Dinner and overnight.
The group will enjoy a typical dinner with folkloric show in a tent.

Breakfast at the hotel
Morning visit to the Museum of Popular Arts and Tradition 'Dar Cherait' carriage ride through the palm grove.
Lunch at the hotel.
Optional 4x4 trip to discover the oasis Chebika Mountain and Tamerza.
Return to hotel, dinner and overnight.
Thursday, October 8 Tozeur / Nefta - Chott El Smite - Nefta - Douz
Breakfast at the hotel.
Morning free to visit the town of Tozeur.
Departure to Douz, "the Gate of the Desert, crossing the spectacular salt lake of Chott El Smite.

Friday, October 9 Douz - Matmata - Medenine - Djerba / Gabes / Matmata
