Mazarrón streamlines the summer tourism (13/07/2009)

The municipality of Mazarrón bet this summer, a variety of recreational, cultural and natural lead to both citizens and visitors to explore every corner of the town.

The activities, which are aimed at all audiences, will have greater presence on the beaches of topics such as seniors, cultural and children.

The adults can enjoy facilities for bathing and facilitate the enjoyment of the beach for people with disabilities through the efficient use of walkways, seating in the water, shadows or aquatic wheelchair, etc.

Culturally, the beach of the island is the second consecutive year the scenario in which the swimmers will have free access to the loan of books, newspapers and the press shop and the storyteller.

New this year is the proximity to the Interpretation Centre Phoenician vessel, located on Avenida Tierno Galván.

The little kids will have a unique place for different varieties of play on the beach of Castellar.

Also, public interest in the practice of sport compared to the enviable views from the Mazarron coast may do so on the beaches of the island and on the ski Bolnuevo beach soccer and beach volleyball.

Within programming activities 'More than sun and sand', organized every summer by the Department of Tourism of the City of Mazarrón, all groups that visit Mazarrón can enjoy a book with multiple activities.

The routes will be the flagship of the summer evenings which will tour various natural areas of the municipality as the head Oven, Bolnuevo Bolete Barracks, Peńas Blancas and the Barranco de los Algezares, among others.

In the cultural, historical routes take center stage stopping at different places in the emblematic building of the town hall, currently serving functionality cultural exhibition space, the Archaeological Museum Roman Fish Salting Factory, the Interpretation Centre of the boat Phoenician Factory Street Roman Era, the Auditorium 'Marquesa de los Vélez', as well as over one hundred archaeological sites that houses the town.
