The Community spends more than € 600,000 to improve the road to Cartagena to Mazarron (16/09/2009)
The Ministry of Public Works and Planning, through the Directorate General of Highways, will invest 653,206 euros to reinforce the road surface to Cartagena to Mazarron, MR-332, passing through the town of Cartagena de Cuesta Blanca , commonly known by the old road as Mazarron Cartagena.
The aim of this initiative is to improve the security of one of the main roads of the town by building an elevated pedestrian way in the RM-332.
The works, which are under contract, have a deadline of three months and will be financed entirely by the regional executive.
