Mazarrón in TURISMUR 2010 (08/02/2010)

This weekend, the mayor of Mazarrón, Francisco Blaya, and the Councillor of Tourism, Alicia Jimenez, attended the inauguration of TURISMUR 2010, 'XIX National Exhibition of Tourism and Leisure' in Torre Pacheco whose act has been chaired by the Minister of Culture and Tourism, Pedro Alberto Cruz.

This year the municipality of Mazarrón has promoted its natural and cultural charms in a stand of 20 square meters, built in Hall B of the Fairgrounds next to the destinations of the Region of Murcia.

Mazarron booth visitors enjoyed two murals, one with images of sun and beach and another snapshot of the historical, archaeological, artistic and cultural.

Mazarron has a large natural tourist attraction thanks to its 35 miles of shoreline including 10 miles of coastline are virgin Bolnuevo erosions, declared a Natural Monument First Region of Murcia, and ponds where they breed more Gravera 40 different species of birds.

The exhibition space and cultural 'town hall' Auditorium 'Marquesa de Los Vélez', Archaeological Museum 'Salted Roman Factory', Casa de la Calle Roman Era, the Interpretation Centre of Phoenician ships, the Shrine of the Immaculate and the churches of San Antonio and San Andres are just some of the historical monuments, art and culture with which the locality.
