The mayor of Mazarrón, Francisco Blaya, accompanied by Councillor for Infrastructure, José Antonio Román, the Councillor for Education, Concepción Ballesta, Personal Councilman Miguel Ballesta, and Councilman Services, Salvador Ardil, recently visited the works of Mazarrón Health Center.
This action of expansion and reform of the center is faithful to the general scheme of the building, keeping the main entrance and emergency access but with a substantial increase in their services.
The Mazarrón Health Center will be equipped with: 15 visits of Family Medicine, General Nursing 12 queries, 1 refers multipurpose dental office 1, 1 refers to priests, extractions and diagnostic rooms, public toilets and general waiting rooms , 3 pediatric wards, 2 queries Child Nursing, 1 Health Care Center for Women, 1 query Cinesterapia (Rehabilitation), 1 X-ray consultation and administration units.
On the ground floor will be the emergency, the areas of general consultations with access to the rest of the building, an area for administration and cinesterapia consultations, extractions, nursing and pediatrics.
On the first floor will be located consultations of Medicine, Nursing and Care for Women and on the second floor will be meeting areas, library and living room for medical personnel.
The anterior surface of the Health Center was 1,500 feet and through these works will increase to 2,700 square footage of consultations and spaces for the attention of citizens of the municipality.
The work, financed by the Ministry of Health of the Autonomous Region of Murcia, involving an investment of EUR 2,320,000 of which have been tendered to the company Civica.
