Saturday Rihuete Beach has hosted the 'XXI National Triathlon' with the participation of about six hundred athletes, among whom were the best Spanish athletes of all time as Javier Gómez Noya.
The warm weather and the level of the participants were the two keynotes of the edition, which was conducted without incident and has generated great excitement among the bystanders in the area.
The water test has been followed closely by the Mayor of Fuente Alamo, María Antonia Conesa, and the Councillor for Sports, Francisco Antonio Raja, as well as citizens and tourists of the town of Mazarrón.
Participants in this competition, national, were three tests: the first swim (in Mazarrón) traveling 750 meters, the second cycling about 24 kilometers and the third walk to reach Gran Via de Fuente Alamo.
The Department of Sports City welcomes the successful development of 'XXI National Triathlon "and is proud of the participation of Mazarron, and Antonio Rico and Adrian Paul, in these tests of' national reference."
