This morning the mayor of Mazarrón, Francisco Blaya, and the Minister of Education, Training and Employment, Constantine Sotoca Carrascosa, have laid the foundation stone of the new center of Early Childhood Education and Elementary Education from Puerto de Mazarrón.
The new facility will be located in the Urbanización Los Caleñares on a plot of 10,000 square meters, donated by the municipality of Mazarrón to the Autonomous Community, which in turn comprise a floor area of 3441.47 meters square.
The center will consist of three modules: one of six classrooms and multipurpose rooms for kindergarten, another three-storey pavilion with twelve rooms and four rooms for support for primary education and one for auxiliary facilities such as gymnasium, dining room and library.
The ninth center of Early Childhood and Primary Education Mazarron is equipped with modern infrastructures double line of similar characteristics to CEIP Infanta Leonor.
Francisco Blaya, who congratulated the entire education community by these new facilities, it is one of the main actions for the township and that education is the engine of life.
In recent years the town of Mazarrón has experienced significant progress in education culminated watching and implemented CEIP IES Infanta Leonor and Felipe II, which provides the public with more and better quality of education.
In this regard, Sotoca Constantine has stated its intention to continue the same score line, expanding and remodeling Hellín Antonio IES IES Sunday Valdivieso.
Works for an amount of 3,977,911.60 euros, financed by the Ministry of Education, Training and Employment of the Autonomous Region of Murcia.
