This morning the mayor of Mazarrón, Francisco Blaya, accompanied by the Councillor for New Technologies, Francisco Antonio Raja, and the Councillor for Social Policy, Yolanda Vivancos, has delivered 32 units of Digital Terrestrial Television (DTT).
Be registered in the county, be 18 years and be in a situation of unemployment are the requirements to meet the recipients of these devices DTT, upon request from the Department of Social Policy.
The departments of New Technologies and Social Policy have worked together to provide the citizens of DTT devices, favoring those most in need.
For its part, the Department of New Technologies is developing a information campaign for citizens to adapt as quickly as possible to switch from analog to digital, making available to the entire municipality repeaters to provide coverage and approved installers.
These devices rely on a TDT grant from the Autonomous Community of Murcia to Mazarron, included in the Second Development Plan of the Information Society 2008-2010.
