This morning the mayor of Mazarrón, Francisco Blaya, together with the Councillor for Sports, Francisco Antonio Raja, presented the 'Campus II Basketball Fran Murcia - Mazarron Bay', which will run from 5 to 10 July in the municipality.
In the presentation ceremony, held at the Town Hall auditorium, has also been the director of Campus and ex - professional basketball player, Fran Murcia, who has detailed the particulars of the second edition of the campus, as well as has witnessed the director of charter schools and a twenty-first century and one representative of Kaixo Basketball Club Mazarrón.
The campus is open to the participation of children in the Region of Murcia, aged between 8 and 15.
The success we achieved this initiative in its first edition has led to the continuity as this campus up one of the best ways of learning for promising young sport in the municipality.
This activity is led by ex - professional basketball player Fran Murcia, who will share his role with professionals in the fields, they also train the children.
The two scenarios that will develop the 'Campus II Basketball Fran Murcia - Mazarron Bay' will be the Sports Pavilion and the College's Aceña Concerted Siglo XXI.
This program, which combines sport and fun, it becomes an excellent opportunity for small municipality from getting into the world of basketball, coinciding with the summer holidays.
The participants, during free time, can enjoy the benefits of Mazarron by a guide who will lead them to discover the rich natural, historic, artistic and cultural hides Mazarrón.
