The managing director of the Institute for Housing and Land in the Region (IVS), Jane Brown, accompanied by the mayor of Mazarrón, Francisco Blaya, today visited the construction of 13 new houses of public promotion, the structure has been finalized.
The new buildings, which have an investment of 969,000 euros, are located on a plot of 1,356 square meters assigned to the Consistory Mazarron IVS, in the district of San José del Puerto de Mazarrón.
"With the construction of these new social housing is host to 75 people can enjoy adequate conditions of habitability and comfort, and are now relocated to the IVS in temporary housing until the completion of the works," said Brown.
"At this point," said the managing director, "the housing structure is already finished, which will lead to major advances in the masonry, which has already begun, and in the woodwork."
The project includes the construction of two parallel groups of six and seven houses and a common basement parking with 22 parking spaces and 13 storage rooms.
11 of the homes are four bedrooms, three and one, two bedrooms, all with living room, kitchen, utility room, shower room, bathroom and patio.
"Since the regional government will finance these works of social distinctly targeted towards low income families. Moreover, the construction of these houses is the regeneration of the district of San Jose in the northern part of the population, and compliance IVS's commitment to families who are going to benefit the project also will promote their full social integration, "concluded Brown.
