The Local Government Board approved in ordinary session, the bases developed by the Department of Celebrations for the organization of the Summer Carnival of 2018. The parade will take place on Saturday July 14 touring the Maritime Walk of Puerto de Mazarrón from the Rolandi House until the Plaza de la Sal in the Puerto Deportivo.
The registration period for comparsas who wish to participate will remain open until June 8
The Concejalía de Festejos will select eight foreign comparsas among all the applications presented that will participate in the parade with the local comparsas.
A jury appointed by the Department will assess the participating comparsas to determine mentions and general prizes.
The three best comparsas will be selected and there will be mentions to the most cheerful, to the headdress, to the design, to the color, to the elegance, to the choreography and to the originality.
