Until June 22, the Municipal Library of Mazarrón houses the exhibition entitled "The Books of the Old School", an exhibition that includes part of the private collection of Manuel Ruiz, a collector who already exhibited at the Library of Puerto de Mazarrón and now offers an expanded sample.

It is a selection of textbooks used in public schools from the late nineteenth century to mid-twentieth century, a reflection of Spanish society and the thinking of past generations.

The exhibition also includes copies edited in Catalan and Basque.

Patricio Sánchez, Councilor for Education and Libraries, encourages visitors to visit a sample of great interest for both children and adults.
